March 6, 1904 --- September 1, 1984

Former Clarion resident, John P. O'Connor of 733 Buchanan St., Anoka, MN, died last week at the age of 80. O'Connor was born in Vincent, Iowa, where he attended school. In 1932, he moved to Clarion and married Vera Crovisier in St. John's Church in Clarion. He farmed until 1950, then he worked on the railroad for some 18 years. O'Connor then retired and moved to Anoka in 1968. O'Connor is survived by his wife, Vera, five sons, Edward, Anoka, John L., Champlin, George W , Osseo, Donald J., Anoka, and Douglas L., Anoka, two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Barbara) Mc Neal, Anoka, and Mrs. Theodore (Carol) Forster, Elk River; and twelve grandchildren. Burial is a 10.30 a.m., Tuesday at St. Stephens Catholic Church, Anoka. Arrangements by Gearhart-Miller Funeral Home, 552 E. River Road, Anoka.
