Tammy Sue Wehmeyer, 54, was a resident of Union Park Nursing Home in Des Moines, Iowa; Passed away in the morning of March 4, 2018 in Lutheran Hospital from natural causes due to health complications. She was born November 22, 1963 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Dodge, Iowa to John Andrew and Gloria Ann Staley of Eagle Grove, Iowa
Her childhood was filled with fun memories of family trips, listening to music, and playing basketball which she excelled at. She shared her love for life with her 2 sisters, Tracy and Theresa, doing what sisters do best laugh, fight, and love. After her father passed away, she graduated from Eagle Grove High School in the spring of 1981. She graduated with an interest in science and math, also, lettering varsity in both volleyball and basketball. She carried her interest of math into life and later graduated from Iowa Central Community College Campus in Eagle Grove with a 2 year degree in business. She used her degree at 37 to open a T/C Cards and Collectibles in the spring of 2000, with then spouse Craig Wehmeyer. Craig and she were married in Woolstock, Iowa in 1993 [December 20, 1995]. Before starting her professional career she gave birth to her first son, Donald (D.J.) Bieghler III, in March of 1984 and John Staley in December of 1986. During her professional career she worked many occupations including Human Resources at John Deere in Woolstock, Iowa; Dispatch Technician for Sun Concrete and Pumping in Grimes, Iowa; Store Manager at Appliance Furniture Rental in Des Moines; and Co Owner of T/C Card and Collectibles.
Her later years were spent with her beloved pets Whitley, who passed in 2007 and Sammy who was adopted in 2010 and given to a loving home in 2015 when she moved into Union Park in Des Moines, Iowa. During these years she loved visiting with her grandchildren, taking trips with residents she loved at her facility. Most important was her building a strong relationship with Christ. She attended church regularly and pushed the importance of good deeds in life.

Son - Donald Lee Bieghler III, wife Carol, and 4 children Brendan, Layla, Dominic, and Izabella.
Son - John Staley, wife Chelsea, and 4 children Serenity Ann, Jazelle, Cyncere, and Cheliya.
Sister - Tracey Carstensen, husband Brad, and 3 children Zach and his wife Abbey; Amanda her 2 children Mackenzie and Brayden; and Kenny.
Also, Shelby, daughter of sister who preceded in death Theresa.Tammy was preceded in death by:
