Barb (Moser) Ostercamp, 42, of Eagle Grove died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 15, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove with Father David Beckman officiating. Burial was in the Calvary Cemetery in Eagle Grove.

Barbara Jo Moser was born June 1,1962 at Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Larry and Mary (Romer) Moser. She attended school in Eagle Grove, graduating from Eagle Grove High School as a member of the Class of 1981. Barb then attended Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. Barb worked at the Eagle Grove Group Home for a couple of years before moving to Sac City, where she also worked for the Group Home (the Howard Activity Center) for one year before retiring due to her health. On August 24, 1985, Barb married Dick Ostercamp at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The couple continued to make their home in Sac City after their marriage and then moved to Eagle Grove in 1986. Barb was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove. She enjoyed scrapbooking and time spent with her children and their sports. Barb also helped Dick at Eagle Tire.

She is survived by her husband, Dick, of Eagle Grove; sons, Scott and Steven, of Eagle Grove; her parents, Larry and Faye Moser, of Eagle Grove; sisters: Diane Chamberlain, of Nebraska; and Mary Reiland, of Savanna, Ill.; brothers: Jim Moser, of Missouri; Jule Hanus, of Des Moines; and Eddie Hanus, of Blairsburg; special friend and adopted sister, Delia Derscheid, of Rochester, Minn.; mother-in-law, Marge Ostercamp, of Lakeview; brother-in-law. Bob Ostercamp, of Mesa, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Cheri Van Sickle, of Neola; aunts: Gloria Faiferlick, of Eagle Grove; and Georgianne Loynachan, of Lakeland, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary, in 1964; and infant sister, Debbie; father-in-law, Leonard Ostercamp in 2003, and her grandparents: Carl and Sara Moser and George and Leona Romer. The Foust Funeral Home of Eagle Grove was in charge of the arrangements.
