November 26, 1927 ---- September 26, 1928

Leroy Land, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Land was born Nov. 26, 1927 and passed to his eternal reward at Rochester, Minn., Sept. 26, 1928, at the age of 10 months. His illness began about two weeks ago and finally developed into primary teritonitis when he was taken to the hospital at Rochester. All that loving hands could do was done to save the little life, but the angel of death conquered it and took it from the earthly to that which is beyond. He leaves to mourn his loss: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Land, Iowa, two brothers, Roy and Dale, one sister, Ruth, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom VanArsdale, Eagle Grove, one grandmother, Mrs. Josie Colclasure, Louisville, Ill., and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the home in charge of Rev. E. A. Anderson and interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery.
