Mr. Hascal Caudell, age 72, of 266 Highway 191, Danielsville, Ga. died Monday, September 17, 2001. Mr. Caudell was happily married to the late Eva Mae Bjornson Caudell. Born in Madison County May 17, 1929 he was a son of the late Walter Raleigh Caudell, Sr. and Martha Jane Crump Caudell. He is preceded in death by his sisters and brothers: Thelma, Lucy, Adell, Margie, Junior, Erastus, and Gartrell. Hascal was an electrical lineman, and member of the Local Union 84, and was a well-successful farmer with poultry, cattle, and grain for many years. He was a member of the cattleman's association, was on the former board of directors for the Farmer's Home Administration, and was on the former board of directors for Madison County Farm Bureau.

Hascal was survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Billy Hascal and Paula Caudell, his son Robert (Bobby) Walter Caudell, and his daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Diane Caudell and Greg Fitzpatrick, all of Danielsville, Ga. Additional survivors include grandchildren: April Caudell Little, Alicia Caudell Bennett and husband Ryan, Amy Jane Caudell , Andrea Michelle Caudell, Amanda Caudell Adams, and husband Chris, Brent Hascal Caudell, Jeremy Fitzpatrick, and Kandace Deanne Fitzpatrick. Hascal was also survived by great-grandchildren: Brianna, Alexa, and Madalyn Bennett, Faith and Malachi Little, Chelsea Newborn, and Zachary Adams; His twin sister Pascal Horne of Athens, Ga., and sister Grace Payne of Bowersville, Ga., many nieces and nephews and other relatives and numerous friends.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2001 at 3:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Methodist Church with Rev. Ray Jenkins and Rev. Tim Peek and Rev. Alan Cole officiating. Pallbearers will be Tommy Hall, Douglas Horne, Steve Asche, Jerry Kolberdanz, Randy Watson, and Barry Fortson. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Carl Gibson, Conrad Adams, Pete Brown, Larry Pierce, David Echols and Mike Dudley. The body is at the Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, Ga. where the family will receive friends Tuesday, September 18, 2001 from 7:00 till 9:00 p.m. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday Afternoon. The family is at the home. Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston is in charge of arrangements.
