Donna Rae (Kraft) Heard of Surprise, AZ, passed away on June 18, 2018. She died peacefully surrounded by many family members. Donna was born in Renwick, Iowa, to Ernest (Pete) and Delma Kraft on December 24, 1935. She went to high school in Eagle Grove, Iowa, where she met her husband James Heard. They were known for their impressive ability on the dance floor. Donna was also a real estate professional in Kennewick, WA. She enjoyed socializing, music, reading, caring for her home, and spending time with her family. Donna is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Donna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jane and Iain Wallace of Scottsdale, AZ; daughter and son-in-law Diane and Dan, St. Hilaire of Concho, AZ; daughter Christine Heard, of Columbia, TN; and grandchildren Jessica Zobel, Todd Wallace, and Shelby and Madison St. Hilaire.

The funeral service will be held at Spirit of Grace Lutheran Church, 15820 W. Clearview Blvd, Surprise, AZ, on July 14, 2018, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Thema Hospice, 1500 E. Bethany Home Road Suite 250, Phoenix, AZ, 85014.
