Mrs. McCombs Died From Accident Injuries
Mrs. R. N. McCombs of Laurens died in Mercy hospital at Ft. Dodge Saturday from the injuries she sustained in an auto accident near Pocahontas about two weeks ago [September 17, 1926]. Mr. and Mrs. Al Watkins of Eagle Grove were in the car at the time but were not seriously hurt. Mrs. McCombs sustained fractures of both legs and other injuries. She was past seventy years of age.
