Mrs. Eliza Jane Lee, 77, died of carcinoma at 1:55 a. m. Friday in the home of a son, Carl Waddell, 323 Logan Avenue [Waterloo, Iowa]. A resident of Clarion, Ia., for 72 years, she moved here three months ago after she had become critically ill. She was born July 19, 1868, at Kenosha, Wis., a daughter of Charles and Malinda Reeder. On Nov 14, 1887, she was married to Thomas Waddell in Franklin County, Iowa. After his death she was married to G. H. Lee, who died in March 1943. Mrs. Lee was a member of the Christian Church in Clarion. Surviving are her son, Carl Waddell; two stepdaughters, one in Windom, Minn., and the other, Mrs. Lottie Crane, Mason City, Ia.; eight grandchildren and several step grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Eyler Funeral home, Clarion. The body was taken to Clarion from O'Keefe & Towne funeral home Friday. Burial will also be there.
