Edward Goetz, 77, of Wesley passed away on June 14, 2018 at the Kanawha Community Home. Memorial Mass will be 2:00 PM on Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wesley, with Rev. Steven McLoud celebrating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Wesley. Visitation will be 1:00 pm until service time at the church.

Edward Vincent Goetz, the son of Henry and Elizabeth (Erdman) Goetz, was born on November 11, 1940 in Wesley, Iowa. Ed had worked as a janitor for Bob Becker Construction. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wesley and enjoyed going uptown for coffee. Edward is survived by two sisters, Donna Grandgenett of Algona and Kay Schrauth of Emmetsburg. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Goetz.
