Leonard Edward Kist
7 April 1907 --- 20 September 1990

Leonard E. Kist was born in Eagle Grove, and he owned and operated Kist Truck Lines. He served in the Army Air Corps in World War II, was town chairman of Lyons, Wis., and past president of the Wisconsin Egg Producers Association. He moved to Arizona from Wisconsin 12 years ago.

Leonard E. Kist Sr., 83, of Youngtown, Ariz., died September 20, 1990, in the Camelot Community Hospice. He is survived by his wife, Frances; five sons, Charles, Mansfield, Texas; Leonard Jr. of Elkhorn, Wis., David of N. Richland Hills, Texas; and Kevin, Longmount, Colo., four daughters, Beverlee Reyes of Riverside, Ill.; Barbara Deering and Candace Kist, both of Phoenix, Ariz.; and Rosemary Kist of Chandler; two sisters, Dorothy Kvale, Eagle Grove, and Clara Smith, Webster City, and 14 grandchildren. Services were held Monday, September 24 at 6 p.m. in Lundberg Mortuary, Youngtown, Ariz.
