Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Newgirg, 91, will be held Thursday (today at) 9:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. J. J. Brickley will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Newgirg died Tuesday morning in the Mathre Nursing Home where she had been in failing health for some time. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Francis Coddington of Webster City and brother, Carl Maier of Eagle Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter and a son George Newgirg.
