Rites on Tuesday For J. Robinson
Services were held Tuesday, January 19, 1960 at 1:30 p.m. at the Methodist church in Goldfield
for Josie Robinson. Rev. J. Howard Machlan officiated. Casket bearers were John Rod, Birdsall
Carlson, Harry Askvig, Kenneth Stephenson, Galen Fjetland and Robert Bjornson. Interment was
in the Woolstock cemetery at Woolstock.

Josie Austin Robinson was born at Woolstock, Iowa, on Sept. 16th, 1888 passed away at his home in Goldfield on Jan. 17th, 1960, at the age of 71 years and 4 months. He was a son of Theodore and Mary Jane Robinson. He was educated in the Woolstock schools. In 1909 he was united in marriage to Sarah Tyrrell, to which union 2 sons and 2 daughters were born, Tyrrell of Waterloo, Otis of Goldfield, Mrs. Fred Schnell, Maxine of Goldfield and Mrs. G. T. Keleher, Clarice of Kansas City, Mo. He was in business in Goldfield from 1932 to 1957 after which he retired. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, his 4 children, 14 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
