26 December 1867 ---- 19 March 1962

Bertha P. Egedal, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans P. Egedal was born Dec. 26, 1867 in Samanger, Norway. In 1871 she came with her parents to this country and settled at Ottawa, Illinois. In 1884 the family moved to a farm near Thor. She passed away March 19 at Lutheran hospital at the age of 95 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters. Surviving are one brother, Peter Egedal, Milwaukee, Wis., one nephew, Lawrence Egedal of Bancroft, Wis. and one niece, Mrs. Frankie Schultz. Interment was at Union cemetery, Humboldt.
