Mrs. Knutson Rites Thursday

THOR, Iowa — Last rites will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Trinity Lutheran church near Hardy for Mrs. Knut Knutson, 85, who died at a Humboldt nursing home Monday. Burial will be at the church cemetery. The Lindhart funeral home is in charge. Mrs. Knutson was born in Bergen, Norway, on Aug. 5, 1875. She came to this country when she was 3 years old and lived in Story county before her marriage to Mr. Knutson at Thor on Dec. 2, 1897. Mrs. Knutson is survived by seven sons, George of Cherokee; Milford of Fort Dodge; Ordine of Nevada; Kermit, Livermore; Clifford and Wilmer of Chicago, Ill.; and Sanford, living in Dakota City. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
