Services for Mrs. Moklebust held Jan 20 at Thor church

Mrs. Anna Moklebust, 82, a lifetime resident of Thor, died late Saturday afternoon, Jan. 17, at Bethesda General Hospital, Fort Dodge. She had been a patient for two weeks. Prior to that time, she had been a resident of Friendship Haven. Services were held Tuesday, Jan 20, at 2 pm at the Ullensvang Lutheran Church at Thor, and burial was in the Norway Lake Cemetery, near Thor. Rev. Ernest Quam officiated at the services. Mrs. Warren Scholten, organist, accompanied the congregation singing. Floral arrangements were in charge of Mrs. L. A. Baumann and Mrs. Roger Holtan. Casket bearers were Stephan Holt, John Holt, Joe Moklebust, Brian Holt, Timothy Holt and David Moklebust. Stevers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Moklebust is survived by her husband, Hans; two sons, Bernhard, Eagle Grove; and John, Humboldt; two daughters, Mrs. Constance Thorson, Thor, and Mrs. Inez Holt, Ellsworth; a brother, George Knutson, Thor, and ten grandchildren. Mrs. Moklebust was born Feb. 28, 1887, and was married in 1912 at Thor.
