Last Rites Today For Jens Orsland

Funeral services will be this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Evangelical Lutheran church for Jens Orsland. Mr. Orsland died Monday night at his home on North Lincoln Ave. His health had been failing for some time and death was not unexpected. Mr. Orslund is survived by his wife, and one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Anderson, and one granddaughter, Bernadine Anderson. Also, thirteen nephews and nieces. Mr. Orsland would have been 79 years of age had he lived until Dec. 18th. Mr. Orsland was a long time farmer in Humboldt county, and moved to his home in Eagle Grove in 1941. Rev. Kenneth Torvik will have charge of the funeral services and interment will be in Rose Hill cemetery.
