Last Rites For Mrs. Hannah Lynch
Mrs. Hannah Lynch, 74, died about nine o'clock Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Caroline Horan following a heart attapk. Mrs. Lynch is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Decker of Omaha, Neb., one son, Frances Lynch of Eagle Grove, and the following grandchildren, Jerry and Richard Lynch of Eagle Grove; Robert, James, Mary Ann, and William Decker, also one brother, John Maroney, of Nevada. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Sacred Heart church in charge of Rev. Maurice Mullan. Interment was in Calvary cemetery.

The Lynch family came to Eagle Grove in 1900, and settled on a farm seven miles west of town. In 1917 they moved to the present Lynch farm northwest of Eagle Grove. Mr Lynch died 10 years ago, and Mrs. Lynch was also preceded in death by one son, Leo, who died in 1925. Since the death of her husband, Mrs. Lynch had resided in Eagle Grove and for the past seven years had lived with Mrs. Caroline Horan in her home. She was a charter member of the Catholic Daughters of America, and served as grand regent many years ago. Two grandsons Robert and James Decker, students at Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, Calif., were unable to be present for the funeral but other out of town relatives and friends here were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Decker, Mary Ann and William, Omaha; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Potter, Secor, Ill.; Mrs. Thos. Reeves, Gridley, Ill.; Mrs. Thos. Dwyer, Odel, Ill.; John Maroney, Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Carmody, Mrs. Rose Carmody, Joe Wheelock, Joe Roche, Mrs. Kathryn Wheelock, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kauffman, Francis Donaldson, all of Nevada; Martin Wheelock, Jas. Wheelock, Jr., Ames; Mrs. Jas. Crosley, Marshalltown; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Oberg and daughter, Fort Dodge; Mrs. Harley Notestine, Des Moines.
