RONALD W. BEISNER
Funeral services for Ronald W. Beisner, 61, were held from the Vernon Lutheran Church on Tuesday, September 2, 2 p.m., with Rev. Roger Dykstra officiating and burial in the church cemetery. The Willim Funeral Home in Dows was in charge of the arrangements. Ron died at his home on Friday, August 29, 1986 of an apparent heart attack. He was born on the family farm in Dows on December, 22, 1924, to Fred H. and Esther Miller Beisner. He attended school in rural Dows and later the Dows High School. All of his life was spent farming on the family farm land. He also worked as a tiling contractor. For many years, he was the Vernon Township Assessor. Ron never married. Survivors include three sisters: Mrs. Mildred Jelle, Ruth Marie Beisner, and Mrs. Stanley (Evelyn) Denger, all of Dows, and one brother; James of Williams. His parents and three brothers preceded him in death.
