Funeral services for Earl F. Schroeder were held from the Chapel of the Eyler-Willim Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 10, 1982 at 1:30 p. m. Rev. Terry Palmer of the Clarion Presbyterian Church officiated and burial was in Vernon Township Cemetery. He died on Saturday evening at his home in Galt. He was 61. Earl was born on a farm south of Galt on January 13, 1921 and was the son of Fred and Tillie Duden Schroder. He was educated in the rural schools near Galt and attended Dows High School. For several years he was engaged in farming and later worked as a welder at Hagie Mfgr. in Clarion. He is survived by two brothers and two sisters; Ernest of Belmond, Marion of Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Fern Blankenship of Clarion and Mrs. Gertrude Scott of Blairsburg. His parents, one brother and three sisters preceded him in death. Casket bearers were: Charles Hagie, Arnold Williamson, Willis Klass, Blaine Nickles, Dean Bohy and Roy T. Johnson.
