Frank Paul Emil Rockow, 91, of Williams, died Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames. Funeral services were held at Vernon Lutheran Church in rural Dows Friday. Burial was at Vernon Lutheran Cemetery. Mr. Rockow was born in Williams July 5, 1893. His parents were Julius and Ottilie Rockow. He married Martha Beyer on Sept. 8, 1915 in Vernon Lutheran Church He was engaged in farming. He was also a member of Vernon Lutheran Church all his life. Surviving are: two sons; Leonard Rockow of Williams and Herbert Rockow of Fort Meyers, Florida; two daughters; Mrs. Don (Lorene) Hastings of Iowa Falls and Mrs. Douglas (Velma) Christensen of Des Moines; 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Also living are three sisters; Clara, Martha and Tillie. Preceding Mr. Rockow in death were: his parents, his wife in 1966 and six brothers.
