ALMA MCPHEE SERVICES HELD

Alma M. McPhee, 93, a former resident of Kellogg, Iowa died Monday [January 2, 1978] in LaJolla, Calif. Burial was at Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg on Thursday morning. Graveside rites were conducted by the Rev. Carl Klein, pastor of the Kellogg United Methodist Church. The Johnson-Reese Funeral Home in Newton as in charge of arrangements.

The daughter of Karl and Carolyn Pauling, she was born Dec. 3, 1884, in Illinois. Mrs. McPhee is survived by one son, Lane McPhee of Solana Beach, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband Arch, a longtime pharmacist in Kellogg.
