Abel Torgerson Funeral Services

Funeral services for Abel Torgerson, 78, who died June 23 after a long illness, were held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Wilder and Bruce funeral home. The Rev. C. A. Benander of Burnside officiated at the rites. Mrs. Tom Ward sang "I Am But A Strange Here" and "There's a Land That Is Fairer than Day", accompanied by Mrs. Edward Rydlund. Pallbearers were Rider Johnson, ? Johnson, Guy Enterline, F. M. Freeman, Axel Samuelson and C. M. Molstedt. Burial was in the cemetery at Vincent. Mrs. John Hamilton arranged the flowers.

In attendance from out of the city were Nels Nelson of Rothsay, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Calmar Jorvex and Mr. and Mrs. Skugruud of Fergus Falls, Minn., and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Knutson of Vincent.
