Larry Franklin Casebeer, 77, of Clinton, Iowa passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Mercy Living Center -South. Per his request there will be no visitation or services. Cremation services were entrusted by the Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory.

Larry was born on July 18, 1940 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of William and Retta (Logston) Casebeer of Clarion, Iowa. He married Sharyll Ruth Wanken on September 10, 1960 in Eagle Grove, Iowa; she died in May 2002. Larry moved to Clinton with his family after the flood of 1966 and started work at Sanitary Dairy which later became Land O Lakes, then Swiss Valley as a maintenance and production worker. After the dairy closed he worked for Central Steel, Balanced Energy, and Sears Wellington before retiring. He was an avid member of the Eagles, Moose, and AMVETS club.

Larry is survived by his three sons: Ron Casebeer of Owensboro, Kentucky, Jerry Casebeer of Sabula, Iowa, Randy (Jody) Casebeer of Cedar Springs, Michigan; one sister: Fran Luke of Ackley, Iowa, two half-sisters: Marilyn McCarter of Bull Head, Arizona, Beverly Parsons of New Zealand, and two half brothers: Don Case of Los Angeles, California, and Steve Casebeer of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his dad and stepmom: William and Velma Casebeer of California, his mom and stepdad Retta (Lyle) Anderson of Clarion, Iowa, and his wife Sharyll Casebeer of Clinton.
