Linda K. Le Blanc, 54, of Council Bluffs, formerly of Iowa Falls, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2000, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Omaha, Neb. Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 27 at the Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home in Council Bluffs with cremation following the service.

Linda was born Oct. 5, 1945, at Radcliffe, to Andrew and Donna Ward Koop. She graduated from Iowa Falls High School in 1964 and became a nurse's aide at the Veteran's Hospital in Omaha. She coached boys' and girls' soccer teams in Council Bluffs for 20 years and was named coach of the year in 1984. She married George Le Blanc, who preceded her in death in 1996. She is survived by two sons, George Le Blanc Jr. and wife, LeAnn, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Sean Le Blanc of Indianapolis, Ind.; three sisters, Andrea Chaplin and husband, Dennis, Sally Burroughs, all of Iowa Falls, and Diana Sprain and husband, Craig, of Webster City; one brother, Doug Knott of Iowa Falls; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a her stepfather, Roscoe Knott.
