WAY, WALKER, MOSHER, KNUTSON, SCHNEIDER

7 June 1892 ----- 20 October 1970

Frank Way, son of William and Rose Walker Way, was born in Elk Point, S. Dakota, June 7, 1892. He came to Iowa with his parents as a young boy and settled in Eagle Grove, where Frank attended the schools. He was united in marriage to Alfarata Mosher, June 10, 1911 in Clarion, Iowa and to this union two children were born: Donald, who died in 1945 and June.

Frank spent his early years in the gravel business. He later was a livestock buyer and for many years was active in construction business in building and remodeling homes. He was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly Church and was an over fifty year member of the Woodman of the World.

Frank had been in failing health and died Tuesday morning, October 20, after having surgery on Monday. He was 78 years, 4 months, and 13 days of age at the time of his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Donald; 2 grandsons: Donald Way and Ricky Knutson and one brother, George. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Alfarata; one daughter, Mrs. Kermit Knutson of Eagle Grove; 5 grandchildren ; 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Wallace, of Des Moines; John of Evansdale; one sister; Mrs. Rose Schneider of Waterloo.

Funeral services were held Friday, 2:00 p.m., October 23, in the Full Gospel Assembly Church, Eagle Grove, with Rev. L.L. Fogelman officiating. Interment was held in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.
