Funeral services for Frank Lynch who died Monday evening, Jan. 4, were held last Thursday morning at Sacred Heart church. Rev. Father Frien of Webster City was in charge. Burial was in Calvary cemetery.
Mr. Lynch was 71 years of age at the time of his death. He was born in El Paso, Ill., Sept. 24, 1871. He and Mrs. Lynch came to Wright county about 1900 to a farm west of Eagle Grove. In 1917 they moved to their present farm home northwest of Eagle Grove. Mr. Lynch is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Decker of Omaha, Neb., one son, Francis Lynch of Woolstock, and five grandchildren. Also one brother, Thomas Lynch of El Paso, Ill. One son, Leo, died in 1925.
Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: P. N. Carmody, Mrs. John Carmody and Joe Roach of Zearing, Martin Wheelock, Joe Wheelock, Katherine Wheelock of Ames, Tressa Morrell and Jack Maroney of Nevada.
