Beverly A. Hanson, 65, of St. Joseph, Missouri, died unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, November 13, 2005. Funeral services in tribute to her life were held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 17th at Samuel Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove, Iowa.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Stephen of St. Joseph, Missouri, her beloved and cherished children, Kimberly Cox and husband Rod of Mattoon, IL, Stephanie Miller and fiance Mark Miller of Des Moines, IA, Andrea Andrew and husband Rod of Ankeny, IA; and Stacey Farlow and husband Rick of Osceola, IA. Also surviving are her adored grandchildren Nathan and wife Caycee, Natalie, Heather and husband Richie, Holly, Haley, Sydney, Addison, great grandchild Rhylee, and step grandchildren Kasey, Keri and Dustyn. She is also survived by two sisters, JoAnn Pohlman of Webster City, IA and Ruthie Brock of Arlington, TX, two brothers Willert Hinrichsen of Green Valley, AZ and Dale Hinrichsen of Coralville, IA, sister-in-law Barbara Hamilton and fiance Steve Straatman of Morrison, CO, brother-in-law Bill Hanson and wife Sandy of St. Cloud, MN and mother-in-law Ruth Hanson of Morrison, CO. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela, parents Ernest and Eleanor Hinrichsen, brother Gene Hinrichsen and father-in-law, Otto Hanson.

Beverly was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa on November 9, 1940, the daughter of Ernest and Eleanor Hinrichsen. She married Stephen L. Hanson on January 30, 1960. Beverly retired in 1998 from Furnas Electric in Osceola, Iowa where she leaves behind many dear friends. She was a Parent Advocate for the Human Rights Committee for Bethage Group Home in Osceola, Iowa. Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family as much as they cherished her. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her on this earth. The Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove was in charge of the arrangements.
