2 December 1895 --- 5 February 1963

Mrs. Bernice Fielder, 67, died Tuesday afternoon in Lutheran hospital, Fort Dodge where she had been a patient about two weeks. Mrs. Fielder, secretary for the First Methodist Church, became suddenly ill while at her work Jan. 19th at the church and was taken to the hospital and had been in serious condition since. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the First Methodist church, with the pastor Rev. Lyle Lieder officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Fielder is survived by one son and one daughter, Roland Fielder of Perry, and Ruth, Mrs. Gilbert Hunter of Hanford, Calif. Mrs. Fielder spent the holidays at the Hunter home. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Harrison Nelson of this city, Mrs. Ray Hyde of Huron, S.D., and Mrs. LaVonne Hough of Pierre, S.D.

Mrs. Fielder's husband Brown Fielder, a conductor for the Chicago and North Western R.R.died April 12, 1958.

For the past four years she has been secretary for the First Methodist Church,_of which she was a member. She was also an active member of the Order of Eastern Star, the L.A. to the B. of R.T. and the Equality Club.

Memorial Services will be held this (Thursday) evening at 8 p.m. at the Sandvig Funeral Home by Eagle Chapter of the Order of The Eastern Sr.
