Sandra Lea Stoddard (Phifer) of Arlington, WA passed away peacefully at home, December 25, 2017 at the age of 77. She was born in Clarion, IA on November 30, 1940 to Cecil and Jessie Phifer. Raised on a farm in Iowa, graduated from Rowan High School in 1958 with an outstanding record in girls' basketball competition. Sandra worked in the banking industry until retiring at the age of 45. Upon retirement she enjoyed living on Iron Mountain Ranch in Sedro Woolley, WA. After marrying John Stoddard, she resided in Bellevue, WA before moving to Arlington, WA to be closer to family. She was an active and dedicated member of the PBCers Organization. Sandra's greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed online scrapbooking, horses, and jus' plain livin'.

Sandra is survived by her husband, John Stoddard; daughter, Kelly Anderson (Ron); step-sons, Darin Stoddard (Susan), Brian Stoddard (Michelle); 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by John Phifer (brother) and Richard "Dick" Hoy. She has left an echo, of happy times and laughing times, and bright and sunny days. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the coming month. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you make a donation to the PBCers Organization.
