August 22, 1930 ---- November 9, 2017

William "Bill" Egemo, 87, of Fort Dodge, died November 9, 2017 at the Humboldt North Care Center. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 followed by the funeral service at 11:00a.m. at St. Olaf Lutheran Church. Interment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services are entrusted with the services.

William Roger Egemo, the son of Wier and Celia (Ness) Egemo, was born August 22, 1930 in Belmond, Iowa. He graduated from Eagle Grove High School. On August 29, 1954, Bill was united in marriage to KaRene Knutson. The couple made their home and raised their family in Fort Dodge. Bill worked as a self-employed truck driver and invested in rental properties. Bill and KaRene enjoyed their winters on their horse ranch in Arizona.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife KaRene in 2004. Survivors include his children; Jerry (Cindy) Egemo of Woodward, Jim Egemo of Fort Dodge, Jane (Doug) Berg of Clare, and Brian (Shelly) Egemo of Badger, his grandchildren; William K. (Shelby) Egemo, Kyle (Beth) Egemo, Kristin (Tyler) Kotrous, Kati (Zach) Lemberg, Anthony Berg, Joshua Berg, Justin Hovey, Leah Hovey, and Karlee Egemo; 10 great grandchildren and his brother Arnold Egemo of Denver, IA.
