Annabelle Louise Kiesecker was born July 20, 1920 in Webster City, Iowa, the daughter of Emil H. and Alta G. (Blackburn) Pfaffenbach. She was raised and educated in the area of her birth, graduating from Webster City High School in 1938.
On August 4, 1940 Annabelle was united in marriage with Eugene Kiesecker at the St. Paul Lutheran Parsonage in Webster City.
Annabelle was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Webster City. She loved music and playing the organ. Annabelle and Gene played with a band, "The Royal Blues Delux", for many years. She enjoyed her grandchildren and was always collecting pictures and articles for scrapbooks and photo albums.
Annabelle passed away on Monday, August 1, 2005 at Trinity Regional Medical Center, at the age of 85 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Walter Pfaffenbach and sister, Mary Stein. Survivors include her daughter Judy Foust and son-in-law Jerry of Webster City, three grandchildren Shanda Foust of Eagle Grove, Michelle Condon of Des Moines, and Chad Foust and wife, Lisa of Eagle Grove, four great-grandchildren Matthew Foust, Kiley Cummins, MacKenzie Condon and Tyler Foust, brother, Don Pfaffenbach of Rochester, MN, sisters-in-law Carrie Hoover of Fort Dodge, June Ades of Webster City and Joyce Hamer of Kingsley, brother-in-laws, Curt Olson of Omaha, NE and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 4, 2005 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Webster City with Pastor Travis Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Foust Funeral Home, Eagle Grove. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City.
