James Loewen Bolger
November 19, 1946 --- November 3, 2017James L. Bolger, 70, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Unity Point Allen Hospital, Waterloo, Iowa.
He was born November 19, 1946 in Belmond, Iowa, the son of James H. and Josephine (Loewen) Bolger. James married Karen L. Nelson August 17, 1968 in Cedar Falls. He graduated from Columbus High School in Waterloo and received his B A degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
James is survived by two sons, James N. (Malorie Klunenberg) Bolger and Justin (Kaitlyn) Bolger, both of Waterloo; two grandchildren Blaike and Berkley Bolger; one brother, Richard L. Bolger, of Arvada, Colorado, and one sister, Susan J. Bolger, of Cedar Falls; two nieces, Amber and Rebecca Bolger and one nephew, James (Danielle) Bolger all of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his Parents and his wife, Karen on October 7, 2017.
Services will be private, visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
