Vada Blanche Rice was born March 14, 1902, in Rowan, Wright County, Iowa, daughter of Charles Henry and Ila Mable Brothers Rice. In 1927, in Kentucky, she married James W. Trimble, son of Jame and Elizabeth M. Firor Trimble. They were the parents of 2 children: James Rice Trimble and Gloria Ann Trimble. Vada passed away November 25, 1977, in Ashland, Boyd County, Kentucky, and was buried in Rose Hill Burial Park there.
