TILTON -- Elizabeth Tilton, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, passed away on July 22, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Tilton of Albuquerque; a sister, Fern Clark of Rochester, MN; sisters-in-law, Elsie Clark of Mason City, IA and Marion Clark of Cedar Falls, IA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly. Her husband, Howard Jack Tilton preceded her in death on July 29, 1958. She was a proud Veteran of the United States Army Nursing Corps during World War II, and was stationed in the Philippines and the South Pacific. She retired in 1972 from a long career as a registered nurse. Daughter of Anna Shunkwiler Clark, Floyd Shunkwiler, and step-daughter of Joe Clark.
