Eldon L. Fjetland, age 95, of Riceville, IA died Tuesday August 16, 2016 at the Riceville Care Center in Riceville, IA where he had resided for 3 years.

Eldon Fjetland was born October 23, 1920 in Rowan, IA to Dan and Sadie (VanBuskirk) Fjetland. He farmed along with his father for many years and was employed by Farmers Feed and Grain in Riceville in later years. Eldon was interested in anything involving farming and tractors especially his International F-20. He also enjoyed riding his golf cart around Riceville checking out the sites.

He is survived by four siblings; Donna Johnson of Meservey, IA, Larry (Ruby) Fjetland of Fountain, MN, Judy Peil of Alexander, IA and Betty Dungey of Osage, IA. He was preceded in death by four brothers; Lorin, Donald, Danny and Darold and two sisters; Lila and Vivian.

Visitation will be held from 4 -7 p.m. on Tuesday Sept. 6, 2016 at the Hindt Hudek Funeral Home in Riceville. Graveside services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016 at the Osage Cemetery in Osage.
