Seven Month Old Ruiter Baby Dies
Ronald Dean Ruiter, seven month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Ruiter of Aurora, Ill., (formerly of Eagle Grove) died Saturday in his parents' home. The baby was sleeping in his crib, and rolled to the floor face down, when the side of the crib fell. Death was reported due to strangulation. The little boy's brother Randy was sleeping in the same room, and their mother had checked them shortly before she found her baby on the floor. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Sacquety Chapel in charge of Rev. Lloyd Meyer. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. The baby is survived by his parents, one brother and his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Garold Smith and Mrs. Lida Ruiter all of Eagle Grove.
