September 5, 1932 ---- January 23, 1978

Mrs. Frank Koenecke, 45, of New Hampton, the former Lois Luthro of Eagle Grove, died in the hospital at New Hampton, Monday morning. She had been ill for several weeks. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Samuel Lutheran Church with the pastor Rev. Orville Sanderson in charge. Burial will be in the Lake Lutheran Cemetery, near Goldfield. Mrs. Koenecke was a graduate of Eagle Grove High School with the class of 1950 and was employed by the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. for 12 years before her marriage.

She is survived by her husband, one son and one daughter, David and Mary Lyn at home, her mother, Mrs. Myrtle Luthro, Eagle Grove; two brothers and two sisters, Robert Luthro, Dubuque; John Luthro, Aurora, Ill.; Mrs. Richard Feller, Mesa, Ariz.; and Mrs. John Koenecke, Estherville.
