Caroline Lutzke Dies Suddenly at Weld Hospital

Mrs. Caroline Anne Lutzke 94, of Bonell Home, died Sunday at Weld County General Hospital. She was born Sept. 2, 1869, at Elgin, Ill., and moved to Williams, Iowa, with her parents when she was a year old. She was married to Herman F. Lutzke Oct. 16, 1889, at Williams and they moved to Chugwater, Wyo., in 1910 where they homesteaded. In 1917 they moved to Boulder and after the death of her husband, Mrs. Lutzke returned to Iowa and Wyoming and came to Greeley in 1954, where she had lived since. She was a member of the Lutheran church. Survivors include three children, Mrs. Laura Kennedy and Ernest Lutzke, both of Chugwater, and Herman Lutzke, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Two children preceded her in death. Services and interment will be in Dows, Iowa. Adamson Mortuary is in charge of arangements.
