Ethel C. (Grimson) Boe, a retired music teacher, died Monday, July 10, 2000, in Artman Lutheran Home, Ambler, Pennsylvania. She was 91. Mrs. Boe, formerly of Apache Junction, Ariz. and Eagle Grove, Iowa, was a member and past officer of Wally Byam Caravan Club International, where she served on several committees for international rallies. She was also a member of Chi Omega Sorority, Alpha Delta Kappa Honorary Society for Teachers, Order of the Eastern Star, White Shrine, and Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Mesa, Ariz.

A musician, Mrs. Boe was a church organist for several churches in Iowa and Arizona. She was avid in knitting, needlepoint and crocheting, which she taught along with other entertainment in various senior groups.

She was a graduate of Finley High School in North Dakota and the University of North Dakota, and she held a graduates degree from Drake University.

Born July 16, 1908 in Finley, N.D., she was a daughter of the late Gilbert N. and Mabel A. (Nelson) Grimson. Herr husband, Marcus G. Boe, preceded her in death. Surviving are a daughter, Marcia Hougen, of Philadelphia, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services and interment will be private. Arrangements are by the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes, Ambler.
