David B. Horlacher, 68, of Frankfort, Ind., (formerly Clarion, Ames and Huxley, Iowa), passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. For many years, David was a seed salesman in Iowa, where he coached for a women's softball league and where he met his wife Jean Overland, of Jewell, IA. They married on Nov. 30, 1985, in Story City, and she survives. He is also survived by their children Stephanie (Mel) Kerner, Dennis (Jill Paddack) Horlacher, Nick (Mindy) Horlacher, and Jessica Horlacher; his 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Anne (Alan) Hazlett; brother, Tom (Dawn) Horlacher; sisters-in-law, Marci Rollins and Jane Moore; many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

A celebration of Dave's life will take place on Saturday, July 15, from 2 p.m.- 5 p.m., at 6853 W. Mulberry Jefferson Road, Frankfort, Ind. 46041. Please dress casually and bring your favorite memories of Dave to share with his family.
