NEVA BERTIE LAMFERS
At the tender age of a year, a month and a day, after a brief illness of bronchial pneumonia, the Good Shepherd entered softly the parental home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lamfers, residing six miles east of this city, and took to the fold the gentle baby spirit of one of their twin daughters, little Neva Bertie, born to them on the last day of the year 1918. The earthly suffering of this little one was not long and there remains the sister, Leava Gertie, a heart balm, to the sorrowing parents. A short funeral service was conducted at the home by Rev. C. H. Seward, followed by burial at Rose Hill cemetery. The sorrowing parents have the sympathy of many friends in their hour of bereavement.
