CENTERBURG, Ohio -- Mary Therese (Lacaeyse) Nelson, of Centerburg, Ohio, formerly of Moline, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2004, at her home in Centerburg. Services will be 11 a.m. today at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, and 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Moline. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. today at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

The former Mary Therese Lacaeyse was born July 15, 1950, in Moline, the daughter of Edward P. and Rosemary (Hannan) Lacaeyse. She married Kevin Nelson on January 1, 1996, in Goldfield. Mary was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and a graduate of the former St. Mary's School, Moline, and Alleman High School, Rock Island. Survivors include her husband, Kevin; daughters and sons-in-law, Amy Harrison, Denver, Colo., Kris and Tim Michel, Columbus, Ohio, and Anna and Tim Vandekieft, Ames Iowa; sons, Casey Harrison, Ames, and Matt Harrison, Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren, Logan, Karly, Noel, Kathleen and Lucinda; and a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Susan Lacaeyse, Kankakee, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents.
