Donald Blair McFalls, 78, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away Monday, December 16, 2013, at his residence. Donald was born in Star City, Arkansas on April 7, 1935, the son of the late Oral E. Blair and James Claude McFalls. Donald served in the US Marines during the Korean War. Donald married Jackie Yon on December 16, 1960 in Dallas, Texas. He worked for Rockwall International as a supervisor for 30 years and was a member of Christian Center of Mesquite in Mesquite, Texas. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Donald is survived by his wife of 53 years Jackie McFalls of Mesquite, Texas; two daughters, Denise McFalls of Perryville, Arkansas; Paulette Melvin of Forney, Texas; one son, Paul McFalls of Mesquite, Texas; grandsons: Benjamin Shaffer of Dallas, Texas; Chris Melvin of Alba, Texas; Justin McFalls Holcomb of Emory, Texas; Jason Melvin of Forney, Texas; granddaughter; Charity Kieng of Dallas, Texas; Tasha Ratliff of Emory, Texas; Rachel Longoria of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. December 19, 2013 at Green Funeral Home, 207 S. Wood Street in Ferris, Texas. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Green Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Lough officiating. Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas.
