Ruth Margaret Edwards, 90, of Stuart, FL, passed away peacefully Friday (2 June 2017) at Allegro Senior Living Facility. She was born 13 Jan 1927, in Springfield, Ohio. Ruth was married to Dewey F. Edwards of Eagle Grove, Iowa for 45 years until his passing in March of 2004. They moved to Largo FL in 1972 and Ruth has lived in Stuart, FL since 2009. She attended Wittenberg College in Ohio and worked as a secretary at Wright-Patterson AFB and with the FAA in Washington DC. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and dancing the jitterbug.

She is survived by her only son Mike, his wife Janet, and her 4 wonderful grandchildren, Travis, Cole, Jazlyn and Sandy, all from Stuart; and her nephew Dr. Alan Edwards of Pittsburg, PA. She will be buried alongside her husband at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington DC.
