Leslie C. Luick Dies at Beloit; Funeral Rites to Be Tuesday Afternoon; Burial at Belmond
Leslie Curtis Luick, 31, son of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis H. Luick, 918 North Federal avenue, died Monday at Beloit, Wis., where he had gone to work about a week ago. He had been suffering from a heart ailment.
Mr. Luick was born in Hancock county, March 27, 1909. He had resided in Mason City since 1927. Surviving Mr. Luick are his parents, one brother, Myrle, Davenport, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Luick, Belmond, and the following aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Luick, Clear Lake; Mr. and Mrs. George Luick, Thornton; Mr. and Mrs. Ross Farmer, Belmond; Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Luick, Marcus; Henry and Albert Luick, Belmond; Joe Jenison, Sanborn; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Jenison, Des Moines; Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Jenison, Worthington, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Tucker, Clarion; Mr. and Mrs. Orin Hansen, Belmond; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barton, Mr. and Mrs. Al Meyhew, and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Oberg, Rockford, Ill.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the Patterson funeral home at 12:30 o’clock and at 3 o’clock at the Methodist church of Belmond. The Rev. William Galbreth, associate pastor of the First Methodist church of Mason City, will be in charge of the services. Burial will be at the Belmond cemetery.
