W. F. Parks, 47, Dies in Hospital
Funeral Rites to Be on Monday Afternoon

Willard Francis Parks, 47, of 246 9th S.E., died at a local hospital Thursday night, following a lingering illness. He had been a resident of Mason City for the past 9 years. Mr. Parks was born April 20, 1900, at Leland, Ill. He came to Mason City 9 yrs ago from Clarion and had been employed by Arnold Motor Supply company. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church. Surviving are his wife, Elaine, 2 sisters, Mrs. Irene Cordes, Cedar Falls, and Mrs. Ruby Whipple, Mason City, and 3 brothers, Wesley Parks, Hampton, Shirley Parks, Clarion, and R. G. Parks, Mason City, and the father W. G. Parks New Auburn, Wis. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services will be held at Memorial chapel with the Rev. Alvin Rogness, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church, officiating. Burial will be at the Clarion cemetery. The Major funeral home in charge.
