Services Held for Mrs. Inez Jacobson

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Inez H. Jacobson, 64, Dows, from the Vernon Lutheran church on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Pastor David A. Anderson officiating at the last rites. Burial was in the Vernon Township Cemetery and the Willim Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Jacobson died on Saturday afternoon at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City, where she had been a patient since August 10, 1972. She was born on August 5, 1905 in Vernon Township, and was the daughter of Herman and Augusta Bauman Beisner. She was educated in schools of this area and spent her entire life in the Dows area. Mrs. Jacobson is survived by one son and one daughter, Roger Jacobson of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Wilbur (Shirley) Schroeder of Willliams. She is also survived by four grandchildren, three brothers, Fred Beisner of Dows; Leonard Beisner of Williams; Frank Beisner of Clarion and one sister Mrs. Elsa Domres of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers.

Mrs. Jacobson had been employed at Golden Acres Manor at Dows since it was opened. She was a member of Vernon Lutheran church and the A.L.C.W.
