Mrs. Rink Dies
Mrs. John Rink, the wife of a well-known Willard farmer, died at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Lake hospital. Mrs. Rink was another of Fallon county's old time residents having lived here for the past fifteen years. Kate Rink was born in Piper City, Ill., in 1871. Later she moved to Webster City, Iowa, and was married there to John Rink in 1889. Fifteen years ago Mr. and Mrs. Rink moved to Montana and homesteaded in the Willard country. Mrs. Rink was the mother of 7 children, 6 of whom are living, ranging in ages from 10 to 34. Mrs. Rink also leaves two sisters in North Dakota, a sister in Illinois, one in New York, and a brother in Washington. The body was sent this morning (Thursday) to West Bend, Iowa, accompanied by Mr. Rink and those of the family who were here. Sympathy is extended the family and friends of Mrs. Rink.

Death Calls Early Settler
June 17th Mrs. Kate Rink, wife of John Rink, passed away at the Baker Hospital after a long period of sickness. Mrs. Rink was an old settler in Fallon County, having come here in 1910 from West Bend, Iowa, and settling on a homestead on Little Beaver, about twenty-five miles south of Baker. Mrs. Rink was 54 years one month and twenty five days old. She was a model home woman and was loved and respected by all who knew her. The remains were taken to their former home at West Bend, Iowa to rest beside her son George who died several years ago and was buried there. Besides her husband those left to mourn are two daughters and three sons, and her many friends.
