Anna M. Maier Finley was born February 10, 1884 in Germany. She came to the United States with her parents at the age of three. She was united in marriage to Guy M. Finley June 8, 1904 at the Sacred Heart Parsonage by Rev. Garland.

She is survived by her husband, Guy M. Finley, her children, Mrs. Irene Ford of Eagle Grove, Iowa; Ronald F. Finley of Boone, Iowa; Harley J. Finley of Eagle Grove, Iowa; two granddaughters, Marjorie Ann Ford of Eagle Grove, Sally Ann Finley of Boone; four brothers, Phillip Maier of Luck, Wis.; Joe Maier of Livingston, Montana, Fred Maier of Eagle Grove; Carl Maier of Eagle Grove; three sisters, Mrs. Chris Walz of Belvidere, Ill.; Mrs. F. Coddington, and Mrs. Joe Newgirg of Eagle Grove.

Mrs. Finley passed away at her home December 27, 1945 at 7:00 a.m. She has been a resident of Eagle Grove for 58 years and died at the age of 61.
