September 1, 1983 --- April 3, 2017
Alicia Rhae Warren-Jumping Eagle, 33, of Sioux Falls, SD, gained her wings on April 3, 2017 to be with her father and mother.
Alicia Rhae Warren was born September 1, 1983 in Iowa City, IA to Larry Warren and Lisa Vanfosson. She grew up in Corning, IA before moving to Klemme, IA in 1997 where she attended school in Belmond, IA. She would go on to complete her GED. She later moved to Sioux Falls, SD and attended classes at Killian college to become a drug and alcohol counselor.
On March 27, 2008 Alicia gave birth to her first son Carter John. Seven years later, she had her second son, Irving Larry, on December 22, 2015. Her boys were the love of her life.
Alicia spent most of her working career as a waitress. This job fit her well as she loved to talk and interact with people. She was recently employed at the Double D Saloon in Brandon, SD. She also spent a lot of her free time volunteering at Tall Grass, attending AA, and church.
Alicia was a free spirit that was so full of life. Her presence was known the moment she entered a room and could make anyone laugh. If something was broken she would always find a way to fix it. She loved to hunt for treasures and would say “If it’s trash to you, it is gold to me.” She also enjoyed listening to music, writing poems, and spending time with her sons.
Alicia is survived by her two sons, Carter and Irving, Sioux Falls, SD; siblings, Katie (Joe) Lovstad, Baltic, SD, Lloyd (Katie) Warren, Elkton, SD; Jessica Alexander (Mike), of Corning Iowa; grandmother, Alice Vanfosson, Sioux Falls, SD; nieces, Bobbi, Abbi, Daisha, and Haven; nephew, Eian; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
